This three week unit will examine the important people, places, and events that shaped the ancient Greeks and their tremendous influence on Western Civilization.

Unit Requirements
1. You are required to read The Odyssey by Homer through your AA English class, which is referenced throughout this unit.
2. You are required to complete a powerpoint presentation for the class on an important person, place, or event of your choosing. The 10 minute powerpoint should be 12 slides (excluding Title Page, Works Cited, and Review Questions).
3. You are required to complete the Review Guide for this unit as well as various paired and group classroom assignments.
4. You are required to take the unit quiz (multiple-choice/essay format).
