    Learn how to add search widgets from MPS Databases to enable students to search specific databases and topics directly from your LibGuide

    • Britannica search widgets
    • EBSCO search widgets
    • Facts on File search widgets
    • Global Issues search widget
    • CultureGrams search widget
    • Destiny Search


      4.  Review and Publish LibGuides

    • Know the review and publishing criteria required to publish a LibGuide to the MPS portal

      5.  Complete Assignment


    • Adding RSS Feed
      How to add an RSS feed to a box.
    • Adding Podcast
      How to add a podcast feed to your guide.
    • Other Content Boxes
      Directions for adding other content boxes to LibGuides. These include Podcast Feeds, Google Book Search, Google Scholar, Feedback Box, and Interactive Poll Box.
    • Adding Anchors
      Directions for anchoring (linking) to another part of the page in a LibGuide.
    • Search Widgets
      Directions for adding search widgets from MPS databases to LibGuides.
    • Publishing your LibGuide
      Review and publication criteria to publish LibGuides to MPS portal.


    Day 2 - Complete the following:

    • Add at least one of the advanced boxes to your guide:

      • Podcast Feed
      • Google Book Search
      • Google Scholar
      • Feedback Box
      • Interactive Poll

    • If appropriate, add at least one widget to your guide

    • Read and be familiar with the review and publishing criteria for LibGuides
