What is Movement?

Movement refers to the way people, products, information and ideas move from one place to another. This can be local such as how did you get to school today, or it can be global such as how did humans get to North America?

Activity for Movement

Roots

Where does your family come from? Find out about your family's roots. Make a family tree (you can use the template from a website below or make your own). Go back at least 4 generations. Add pictures if possible.

In paragraph form, discuss when and why your ancestors came to the United States and how they got here. In addition, a second paragraph should explain why and when your family came to Arizona.

Grading Rubric

You will be graded according to this attached rubric.
