Project Exploration Report Requirements

You’ve had a wonderful experience.  Now is the time to organize your thoughts and tell me what you learned.Your paper should be WRITTEN IN YOUR OWN WORDS and be at least 7 paragraphs in length.  It needs to include the following information:

___WOW intro

___Paragraph 1- What you learned on the Floating Lab

___Paragraph 2- What you learned at Sea World (I don’t want to hear about Shamu or the rides)

___Paragraph 3- What you learned at Scripp’s Institute.

___Paragraph 4-Beach Activities (not lunch, shopping, etc)

___Paragraph 5-How you can use the information you learned to help the environment

___Great conclusion

____Must be TYPED.

____Cover REQUIRED with a HAND-DRAWN picture of an animal you saw CCC.

Your paper will be graded using the six-traits of writing.  For word choice I will be looking to see that you use the scientific vocabulary correctly.

This is an EXTENDED HOMEWORK assignment-some class time will be given for this paper but it is expected that most work will have to be completed at home.

Computers are available for typing final copies at lunch and recess.

If you need paper for a cover, please let me know.
