Additional Information

You can access the MPS databases online. From school, you can acces them without a username and password. From home, use the following information:

Username: mps4

Password: search

Some terms to search are: social media, digital communication, social networking, or look up specific sites (ie: twitter, FB, etc). Other termsa are: policy, regulation, suspension, expulsion, college, university, first amendment, etc.

In order to score high on the rubric, you should include at least one peer reviewed source.

Try looking up cases you find on law.cornell.edu or oyez.org for additional information as needed.

REMINDER: Reaserch resembles looking for your car keys or sunglasses (if you're like me, these are two items that frequently are not in the place I think they are). You need to look. You're going to go to some areas that aren't beneficial to your paper at all, but you still need to look. For example, I'm pretty sure (like 98%) that my keys are not in the freezer, but I check anyway. I'm searching. So are you. You may hit the lottery and find great articles, but successful research requires some time. Make sure you give yourself time.

If you are already registered at MCC, you can access the MCC Library for more databases. You will need your MEID number and password to login.

To contact Dr. Rodriguez at MCC, email her from your school email at: errodrig@mesacc.edu
