Students will have a 1-2 page written or typed report on their state. We will use the materials listed to help build that report in class. Please refer to the outline listed on this page to see what information they will use to include in their state report. State reports will have their sources cited in the bibliography.

D. Name the major bodies of water that are in your state or border your state. Show on a map where at least 2 of them are located along with the North, South, East, West guide.

B. What person, or groups of people founded your state? What year did it happen?
C. What major events have occurred in your state since statehood? List at least three events.
D. Name at least three famous people from your state. What did they do?
