Mrs. Tracy's Favorite Books

[Apparently, this bookshelf will not show at school due to the district internet filter. That's a shame. But to answer #7 on your WebQuest, one of my favorite books (or 3 of my favorite books, if you're being technical) is/are The Hunger Games.]

Mesa Public Library Resources

Mesa Public Library website -  http://www.mesalibrary.org/default.aspx

It looks like with your library card you have access to:
  1. Freegal Music Downloads
  2. Tumblebooks - for kids!
  3.  Rocket Languages - language learning program -- very cool.
  4. Greater Phoenix Digital Library - http://phoenix.lib.overdrive.com/402D5D9A-20EC-4AF7-87FB-72353AE09529/10/50/en/SearchResults.htm?SearchID=12175590s&SortBy=CollDate
  • Mesa shares Phoenix's digital resources, which includes free e-books & audiobooks for a variety of devices (e-books can be read on most devices including phones, and audiobooks can play on certain devices...this is all listed on the webpage).

  • If you want to get items for mobile devices, the Overdrive Media Console app is what you'd use.  Popular items may still require that you place a hold.

Also, you can get e-books for lots of classics and older items that you've always wanted to read that are no longer in copyright.
