You will write a 2-3 page paper (double spaced, 1 inch margins, font Times New Roman, and size 12) on any topic from the first semester of World History.  All sections are listed on the tabs at the top.  If you want to do a more specific topic, you must receive permission form the teacher.

You MUST have a MINIMUM of 5 sources for credit, 3 of which MUST come from a physical book or other reliable printed material.  These sources MUST be cited on your works cited page.  Failure to do so will result in a loss of points.

Plagiarism is completely unacceptable.  If you do plagiarise someone else's work, you will lose credit for the assignment.

This paper is to help you become better writers, researchers and critical thinkers.  If you follow the instructions exactly then you have nothing to worry about.  This is not going to be a short paper and thus should not be procrastinated to the end.

You are required to research your chosen topic thoroughly and be able to defend your answers with complete sentences, pictures, diagrams, illustrations or any other chosen genre.  Be sure to answer each question in at least one (1) paragraph.  Some questions will generate a combined response, which is appropriate as long as both questions and accurately completed.
