    Create a Commercial

Prepare a commercial (an oral presentation)  for your county.  You are the local tourist advisor for the county and you want your audience to come visit your county.  Why would they want to come here?  What should they visit?  What are things people might want to purchase in your county (jewelry, art work, foods, etc.)? Where could they stay?  Where are good places to eat? Include interesting facts and information about your county.   Props are encouraged for your oral presentation, and you must create a travel poster or travel brochure for use in the presentation.

    PowerPoint Presentations

PowerPoint is one option to create great electronic presentations that can include text, graphics, images, links, videos, and more!

    Video Presentations

There are many software programs available for purchase to make movies on your computer, BUT whether you have a Mac or a PC, all computers have some basic movie making capability installed right from the factory. Here are a couple of links to LibGuides that will help you learn to use iMovie and MS MovieMaker.

    5 Paragraph Essay

Write a 5 paragraph essay  incorporating the 6-Traits  covering the history, location, significant landmarks, tourist attractions, and interesting facts on your county.   Include information on:  Why would someone want to come here?  What should someone visit?  What are things people might want to purchase in your county (jewelry, art work, foods, etc.)? Where could someone stay?  Where are good places to eat?  Include interesting facts and information about your county.
